Program details

  • Brand: FamilyColab
  • Program type: Transactional Family Health, meal approval, approval request, reminder and Care Check text alerts.
  • Example messages: a Family Health alert about a reading outside the range the family set; a meal approval text with a link when another parent sends meals for you to approve; an approval request text with a link when your child asks for something that needs a parent's OK, such as taking money out of their family bank account; a reminder text with a link before a family calendar event, a morning note with what to bring to school, the pickup time and what is on the calendar today, and a heads-up when a family member's birthday is a week or 3 days away; a Care Check text asking a family member to reply OK; an alert to care contacts when a check-in is missed.
  • Who receives texts: parents or guardians who opt in on the FamilyColab website, and Care Check members and care contacts who reply YES to a one-time request.
  • Approval request and reminder texts go only to parents, never to children, and only when the parent does not have the FamilyColab iPhone app.
